BOOK CLUB

Our first meeting will be Tuesday, October 20th at 6:15 and going as long as we like. Our first book is “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle. This is an important book highly recommended, not only by me, but by Oprah herself!  Kidding aside, it is a wonderful book and I look forward to an interesting discussion.

Everyone is welcome, there is no charge, and snacks will be served. We will pick our next book at the meeting. Your suggestions are encouraged.

If you intend to join us, please let me know a few days in advance, so I have enough snacks! phone: 845.677.4549  email: info@halfmoonyogabarn.com

FLEXIBLE STRENGTH CLASS

with Debra Coddington and Nancy Causey

Beginning Tuesday, October 6

For Women Only

The focus of this exciting class will be strengthening upper body and core muscle groups by combining free weight training and yoga.  The first half, weight training with Debra, will concentrate on upper body and core strengthening. The second half, yoga with Nancy, will continue core strengthening and stretching the muscles which have been most worked.

Initially, you must attend the Introduction Workshop which consists of 4 consecutive weeks of class and begins with a 1 hour workshop prior to the first class. The cost of this Introduction Workshop is $100.

After you have completed the Introduction Workshop you may continue on a drop in basis @ $25 per class or buy a series of 5 classes (to be used within a 60 day period).

In order for the weight training aspect of this work to  be effective, it is recommended that you practice at least once and preferably twice more during the week on your own.  We will have weights available for rent as needed.

The class will run from 4:30 to 6:00 on Tuesday, with an hour introduction before class at the beginning of each month for newcomers.

There are a few openings for the November Introduction Workshop.
