Nancy Causey has taught yoga for over 12 years, and co-founded the Half Moon Yoga Barn 10 years ago. She began her practice of yoga 22 years ago with Marsha Albert in Woodstock, New York, as an escape from her high-pressure career in the clothing industry.

Nancy counts Marsha among her greatest influences that include Cheri Clampett, Sam Dworkis, Tias Little and Patty Townsend.

Nancy has completed Therapeutic Yoga training with Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal and received 200 and 500 hour certification in embodyoga™ with Patty Townsend of Yoga Center Amherst.

Terry ReganTerry Regan, RYT 200

Terry began studying yoga over 20 years ago with Senior Iyengar teacher, Sam Dworkis. Terry worked with Sam privately and in small classes weekly for 7 years, developing an appreciation for the anatomy of the body and the alignment of poses.

When Sam began traveling to Florida in the winters and a new yoga teacher came to town – Nancy and Terry met. Since Nancy’s style was very different from Sam’s it took some time to build trust and an appreciation of the differences, but Terry being the true student she is, opened her mind and heart to the new teacher and eventually Half Moon Yoga Barn was born. Over the years, Terry has studied with many other teachers, earning her teaching certificate from the Center for Yoga in Amherst, Mass where she studied with Patty Townsend.

Today, Terry is co-owner and co-director of the Half Moon Yoga Barn and a dedicated student of the yoga way of life.
